550 Biltmore

550 Biltmore is a landmark in Coral Gables. Its interior features include Italian travertine walls with marble and granite accents, burled walnut elevator cabs, and polished-stone and brushed-metal finishes in the lobby.
The building settles nearly the entire site except for terrace setbacks along the north and west street frontages. A circular driveway and fountain remark the building’s main entrance, flanked by two impressive bronze-cast lions. A side entrance at the terrazzo level displays a smaller fountain. The pyramid configuration enables most suites to feature their own balcony, with conference-size terraces for larger offices.
