“We met at work!” is the line we tell everyone when they ask how we met. 

 

The more detailed version of the story is that we met at work, started dating while we were working together, and didn’t tell some of our friends. They still bring this up. 

 

We’ve been together through bi-coastal living arrangements as each of our careers has progressed, long-distance between DC and Dubai, and living together in a one-bedroom San Francisco apartment during the pandemic. We are now happily living in Topanga, CA with our 100 lbs pup, Rousso. 

 

We are close to a decade of being together. So, why get married now? We mutually agreed to get married…because of you all, our community. We’ve come to realize that the times our people come together are rarer and rarer as we get older. So, we wanted to throw a party for our closest friends to celebrate the people we’ve grown into and the impact you’ve had on us as humans. We are so grateful to each and every one of you and the role you’ve played in our lives. We hope you can come to Marrakesh to celebrate. If you can’t, no worries at all. It is just a party and your friendship means so much more than that.
