Pleasant Provisions
Women-owned local business
We are trying to slow down, shun perfection, and live a more pleasant life.
The Pleasant Provisions Company is a small, woman-owned business powered by three sisters: Kitty, Carolyn, and Laurine. A former banker, chemist, and engineer. After 40 years of being geographically separated, we have come together in the Willamette Valley to spend our “golden years” and create little bits of joy to make lives more pleasant.
Our “family compound” consists of two adjoining vineyards, herb and vegetable gardens, a meadow, and woodlands. We share our space with goats, dogs, and honeybees. Our studio is in an old trailer that used to function as a tasting room. We are trying to slow down, shun perfection, and live a more pleasant life.

Having grown up near midwestern steel mills, we truly appreciate the beauty and magnificence of our new home in the Pacific Northwest. We are committed to being good stewards of our planet and using sustainable packaging to limit the harmful impacts of single-use plastic and other packaging waste on our environment.

Kitty (pictured here) kicked things off with beautiful artisan soaps and later created our Naturally Pleasant line that is free from artificial ingredients and synthetic chemicals. She uses the highest quality ingredients sourced from nature and transforms them into wholesome, safe, and effective products to care for your skin, hair, pets, and laundry.

Soon we hope to add Carolyn’s gorgeous hand-woven scarves, Laurine’s craft vinegars infused with lovingly-tended herbs from her garden, and if we are extra lucky, next generation Katie’s clay jewelry creations.

We hope our products bring a little more pleasant to your life!
