Coach McKensie
HEAD CHEER COACH

“I’m excited about many things with this position, but the thing I’m most excited about is helping these young athletes love this sport as much as I do. My favorite thing about cheer is the practices leading up to performances. They may be really hard practices, but every single one is worth it in the end. With my time cheering at SAU, we not only built a great team, but a family. I really hope that these young athletes grow not only as a team but as a family because that’s what makes an unbeatable team."

Coach Ashley
HEAD GYMNASTICS COACH & PROGRAM COORDINATOR

“My favorite part of being a coach is seeing athletes improve every day! Being able to learn new skills and perform Tham at competitions and recitals makes all of the hard work pay off! It’s great to see how proud the athletes are of them selves for accomplishing their goals! One of my main priorities as a coach is technique. With the correct technique and willingness to learn, you can accomplish anything! But teamwork and having fun are just as important! My favorite event is beam, because I love the combination of artistry and difficulty!”
